DATEX II will be present at the session “Common Interest in C-ITS Policies and Strategies” on Friday the 31st of May from 11.00h – 12.30h.
We will talk about DATEX II starting from the point of view of a Road Operator involved in Traffic Management to extend the vision to further ITS service domains like CCAM, logistics, inter-modality and inter-urban/urban mobility.

Presentation abstract:
DATEX II is a standardized e-language that supports traffic and travel information exchange between Traffic Management Centres in Europe, co-funded by the European Commission (DG Move). Thanks to its powerful and up-to-date UML-based methodology deployed on standardized technology (XML to JSON), DATEX II plays a key role in supporting information exchange for the provision of ITS Services, from SRTI and RTTI to C-ITS oriented signaling navigation systems. DATEX II is extending its domain from well standardized road and traffic data (under CEN) to supporting CCAM, logistic co-modality for ports / interport management and urban / interurban mobility, including Management of Electronic Traffic Regulation (METR).
